community engagement

Valuing Our Communities by being a good relative
At Native American Bank, we firmly believe that community and relationships are at the heart of our mission. We actively engage with the communities we serve through our Mission in Motion volunteer program and through sponsorships to non-profit and professional organizations.
Fostering strong connections with our customers, partners, and local organizations is essential for building a thriving economy and empowering our communities.
Mission in Motion
Our Mission in Motion program empowers our employees to step away from day-to-day duties and into the local community through paid volunteer teamwork. This initiative extends our mission, bringing deeper meaning to daily roles. We proudly support key community organizations and nonprofits like the Denver Indian Center, Urban Peak, and The Blackfeet Care Center.

Denver March Pow Wow
Our team supported the Denver March Pow Wow team by running the registration table to help dancers check in for the pow wow.

Denver Elder Luncheon
We partnered with the Denver Indian Center and sent volunteers to help with their holiday luncheon for local Denver elders.

Urban Peak
Our team volunteered at Urban Peak to prepare a hot lunch for campus residents and received a tour of their community-driven Denver facility.
community partnerships and giving
We believe strong communities are built through meaningful partnerships and purposeful giving. By supporting organizations and initiatives that advance education, community well-being, and financial education, we help create lasting impact in our communities.

Browning HS Scholarships
For several years we’ve awarded academic scholarships to graduating seniors from Browning High School to support their academic endeavors.

Tulalip Food Drive
We partnered with the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation to collect non-perishable foods at our Tulalip, WA branch.

Mini-Bank Program
Each year we donate to support NACDC Financial Services’ Mini-Bank program where we collaborate to teach financial skills to Blackfeet youth.
professional eco-system partners
We proudly support professional organizations and industry events that foster collaboration, innovation, and economic development across Indian Country and the broader business community. Through strategic sponsorships, we strengthen relationships, share expertise, and help advance conversations that create lasting opportunities for our customers and partners.

Reservation Economic Summit
The annual RES conference plays an important role for us to connect with our customers and partners, and to engage in impactful discussions about our work across Indian Country. Find our booth the next time you’re there!

Native American Finance Officers Association
Engaging with industry professionals and Tribal leadership is pivotal when we attend and support the NAFOA conferences. We’re always looking to make connections.

Native CDFI Network
As a Native CDFI, we’ve had a long standing membership with NCN and collaborate to uplift the impactful work all Native CDFIs do across the country in our communities. We want to partner with other CDFIs.
